Reading and Watching 4
Another edition of Reading and Watching! This particular edition includes fashion shows, which I tend to watch here and there, but watched several recently, and local authors. I also had a clear, or perhaps golden, thematic element to my smut watching. I respectfully grieve the purge of Motherless from our landscape of sexual expression and bemoan clicks-above-all rage engagement news. Keep in mind, I also discovered Sims 4 was free to download and for a while I was playing roughly part-time job hours at it. Why? I don’t know, but the Sims 4 obsession has slowed down for me, at least for now.
Books and Zines
“Leo Rising” by Archi Bongiovanni - A fantastic graphic novel full of self exploration and testing out what it means to be friends, lovers, and in all sorts of relationships from casual to parasocial. Very funny, and also very “oof”, and also wow sometimes these people fuck up lol. But through the mess is relatability and attempts (some successful!) at horny adventures, as well as a honestly a very beautiful friendship story. Archie Bongiovanni is a local author!
“Again, Harder” by Alice Stoehr - Absolute breathtaking collection of short stories, put out by The Feminist Press. And I mean breathtaking in that it feels like getting kissed tenderly, kneed in the guts, loved by a ride or die homie, and abandoned all at once. It doesn’t shy away from poverty, queerness in rural areas or big cities that still sometimes feel small, messy friendships, re-realizing ones self, what it means to connect and support and hurt each other, half hearted sex, passionate sex, kinky sex, needing someone, and needing yourself. Most of the characters are trans women, and this is an extremely queer and trans focused piece of literature. Alice Stoehr is a local author!
“Private Viewing; How erotic films expose cultural anxieties around sex, intimacy, and pleasure.” by Naomi Osborn / Film Friends - I got this zine at a fundraising art market and sex ed event, which was really cool. The zine discusses the movies Pulp Fiction, Crash, Cruising, Body Double, and The Hunger, none of which I’ve seen. Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m working on my cinema education. However, not having seen the films in question didn’t diminish the ease with which they were discussed or the salient points made on desire and how films and the audiences react to it. The back of the zine has an email, filmfriendsmn (at) gmail (dot) com, that you could likely use to inquire about getting a copy yourself if you’re interested. I believe Naomi Osborn is a local author because I’m not sure how I would have acquired this zine otherwise!
Fashion shows
Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2026 - loved it. The very voluminous dresses at the end didn’t do a ton for me personally but the first two thirds (which I consider to be two fully explored ideas - the leather set first, and the semi-sheer, semi plastic, raincoat? dresses? as second) were exemplary in my opinion.
Dior Spring/Summer 2026 - Overall fine. There were some looks or ideas that piqued my interest, but now I don’t even remember what they were. This was Johnathon Anderson’s debut for Dior.
Chanel Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture - Boring. Oh my god we get it you’re Chanel. I had hoped with the whimsical backdrop we’d get some whimsy, some excitement, but I could barely skim through it.
Gucci Fall/Winter 2026/27 Milan Fashion Week - I loved it! One could easily argue that a lot of it is fairly gauche, but one could also tell those people to go fuck themselves. I was wondering what was up with the absolutely janky walks though (comments said they were supposed to evoke a hard night of partying and/or the next morning which I could see). The metallics, the sequins, the open jackets over open button front shirts with necklines plummeting to low slung waists on all genders… Again maybe not “classy” but at least they’re getting to have some fun.
Thierry Mugler Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1997 - Truly extraordinary. There are tons of references to bugs, some subtle, most overt. From the headpieces and antennae, to segmented body pieces, to actual butterfly and moth wings or beetle carapace motifs, to playing “Flight of the Bumblebee” as part of the soundtrack, there were insect-like aspects all over in many of the looks. Fortunately, I think bugs are cool as hell. The show could also largely be considered fetishwear too - lots of pvc, sheer mesh and lace bodysuits, stockings, gloves, extremely shiny materials, and latex and leather coming into play. The last third of the show ups the ante (ant pun intended), with more formal looks, more overt insect imagery, more leather and latex and heavy bejeweling, more theatrics, and many of the outfits turning the models into characters, or perhaps, creatures. Some of the show I can’t tell if it’s camp, or campy on purpose, but either way the absolute devotion to the bit is inspiring. The silhouettes are often either structural and exaggerated hourglass or skintight, but there’s variety there too. It makes me want to see what other designers were doing in ‘97 to compare and contrast.
Porn Erotica
“She Turned Me Into This” by Litfan2016 - The story of an online porn woman turning a real man into a premature ejaculating, diaper wearing, submissive beta gooner.
“Baby-Sitter vs. Wine Mom” by PieceOfCredence - This one was SO HOT to me. A bad mom returns home late, after drinking to much, to a very unhappy babysitter. The babysitter chastises the mom, which turns into a full punishment after the mom yells at the babysitter and wakes up the kids. The mom gets her slutty dress hiked up for a spanking, even though of course she needs to pee so badly. There’s plenty of lewd exposure, verbal humiliation, orgasm denial, and so on.
Porn Videos
“Pee Desperation Orgasm” by ScottLevine- This started an omorashi arc of trying to hold it, being horny about it, inevitable undies peeing, and jerking off about it. Since I came watching it but found it free, I went and found ScottLevine’s Fansly page here to subscribe and tip him.
“Wetting my Underwear makes me Horny! Piss, Cum, and Piss Again!” by Reggimon - The title is remarkably descriptive. This was exactly to the point of what I wanted to see, which brought me to this next video.
“I held as long as I could” by Golden420 - When I say I CAME to this, wowee. It was so hot when he said sorry when he started peeing. And then stroking after he peed on himself some, and then wrapping the strings of his sweatpants around his dick to hold back the flow of piss some more… Like I said, I’ve been having a pants peeing and jerking off about it arc.
And I had been browsing Motherless, but since the sensationalist media reporting conflated the entire website Motherless with a “Rape Academy” that was actually a groupchat where some users (who did do heinous things) did post some videos Motherless, now the whole website is gone. RIP Motherless, and my account. Another win for fear mongering falsified reporting to push further censorship, in my opinion.
Movies and TV
Ghosts of the Deep: Black Sea Shipwrecks (2019) - A documentary about a scientific expedition in the late 2010’s scanning the Black Sea for shipwrecks, examining the shipwrecks, and taking samples of the seabed core to figure out how the ancient lake filled in the first place and how it expanded into a sea that meets ocean water.
Carnivale on HBO, all 2 seasons - Set in the Great Depression and mostly following a carnie troupe, some of whom do have actual special powers, this show was dramatic and intriguing without feeling too terribly overwhelming. While we have sympathies with several of the main characters, and in the end it becomes much clearer that there is a “good” and “evil” force fated to intertwine, every character has their flaws, and several are put in morally messy situations. There is also a mother and daughters sex worker force in the carnival, and their characters and stories are multifaceted and interesting (though there is also a horrible violent tragedy, related to their profession, that befalls one of them). They left the ending open to potentially repeat the good and evil cycle. I’m not sure if I’d keep watching if they continued it on, but I might.
Due to the ever declining literacy rates in the USA, I’m considering offering some kind of incentive to people who have read a book in the last six months. Is that you? Have you read a book in the last six months and want to receive some kind of goody or discount from me? Would something like that encourage you to read a book? Reading, or at least literacy skills that deepen empathy and/or encourage critical analysis of information or sources of information, is so important to societal health. Who knows how much I can or can’t influence people, though. Anyways, thanks from this local Minnesota ProDomme, Pro Mommy, Professional Dominatrix, me, Miss Epiphany, right here in Minneapolis / Saint Paul, MN. (That line was for my SEO <3)
